How to play · rules and tactics
Outscore a clockwork collector by at least 8 points across six open auctions. Three numbered lots appear each round; the rival’s chosen lot and bid are public. Select a lot, adjust your bid, then tap one of your four inventory slots to buy. An uncontested lot costs your bid (minimum 1); a contested lot requires a bid strictly above the rival. Invalid bids or mismatched occupied slots do not spend money or advance time. An equal inventory tile merges, then chains with any other equal tile; each fusion scores its new value. The rival takes its announced lot unless you outbid it, in which case it takes the next lot clockwise. It uses the same merge rules. You start with 10 coins and earn 1 after each auction. Think about denying the rival as well as your own combinations. No randomness. Auction lots in order: (2,2,4), (4,2,2), (4,8,2), (8,4,4), (16,4,8), (8,16,4). Keyboard: Tab and Enter/Space operate buttons; R restarts.
